Abstract: Instability in electrical power has been a major concern from the early days of its invention. Having to generate, transmit and distribute, electrical engineers have discovered and addressed issues for quality energy supply. In order to achieve uninterrupted power, control engineering plays a major role. Two of the most common problems in control of power systems are; automatic voltage regulation (AVR) and load frequency control (LFC).
